Stock Transfer Overview

When you need to transfer stock between warehouses, you create a new stock transfer batch. There are two parts to each batch: the first part is the batch header and the second part is the items included in the batch.

You use the Stock Transfer Creation screen to create a new stock transfer batch or to load a batch you have previously saved.

To create and maintain stock transfer batches, you need to complete these steps:

1. Either:

• create a new stock transfer batch - refer to "Creating a New Stock Transfer Batch"
• load an existing stock transfer batch - refer to "Recalling a Stock Transfer Batch".

2. Enter or maintain the stock transfer header details.

3. Add or maintain the items in the batch.

4. Optionally, edit other batch details.

5. Manage the completed stock transfer batch, e.g. hold or post the batch.
